Hello,

Welcome to the Dessie Scott School web page.  Our school is a school within the Wolfe County School District.  We are an affiliate of the Kentucky Educational Collaborative for State Agency Children (KECSAC).  We are PROUDLY home to students from all over the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as well as students from our own county.  Currently we serve students in grades 6-12.

We offer each of our students an opportunity to excel at their own pace through an alternative school setting.  Our curriculum is primarily computer-based.  We currently use the Edmentum/ Plato program, which allows students the ability to earn credits throughout the typical school day as well as at night and on weekends.

This setting allows our students the chance to recover any lost credits or excel their credits by taking advanced courses. We also have multiple graduations throughout the school year.

Our school is located on the campus of the Dessie Scott Children's Home in Pine Ridge Kentucky at the entrance of the beautiful Red River Gorge.  If any of you would like to visit, volunteer, or assist our students in any way, feel free to contact us.
